The below screenshots depict an animation that is one of my main areas of inspiration. I used this animation during my last project as inspiration but later on. This time I was ready to use this project as a focal point of inspiration.
Main points I want to take from the animation:
- Three key colours.
- I like the speed of the animation: when transitioning the animation is fast and fluid and then when it lands on a key element it slows down without losing fluidity.
- Different ways in which new elements are introduced to the animation for example: swooping motions happening in different ways when introducing different elements.
Below are some screenshots of scenes from the animation that I particularly like. As you can see the images of the animals are detailed enough that you recognise them but they are also very malleable. As a result, I am considering my own drawing style and how I definitely need to reduce the detail when it comes to animating so that it is easier to transition between scenes.
