Script draft 3

Simple skeletons of a script that I will play around with when I put it in the animation. The key is making it simple and understandable to any age group.

Front cover

Iron Age people were farmers and spent their days working the land.

Metal ploughs were used so that crops could be collected.

Label – Wheat, Barley, Peas, Flax and Beans.

Iron age people lived in round houses with woven willow fences

Pg- Each separate page of animals labels (keeping it simple)

kept cattle, sheep and pigs

Roman Invasion - 43 AD - 8 years old

His roles would’ve included

(are these too complicated for the age group?)

-       Collecting water for the quenching pit

-       Gathering up old iron

-       Working the bellows on the smithing hearth

-       Sweeping up the hammer scale (bits of hot iron that then cooled on the floor

-       Eventually hammering larger metal objects

In the roman town of Durocornovium there were many leisure activities that could be spectated and participated in.

Games of drafts and dice

Children would mock sword play in the street

Theatres would perform shows

Grows old

Dies

  • Gets buried outside of the town in the graveyard
  • Roman funeral - wrapped in a white cloth and buried outside of the town
  • His head would face the North and his feet to the South
