In terms of my last Authorship project I have definitely improved my ability to draft out an animation and then animate it. One of my biggest developments during the project has been learning to sketch out rough animated gifs before animating rather than attempting to animate perfectly every single time.
Aswell as this my last animation was very fluid with the main focus being transitions as a result I feel like the way I think about transitioning scenes has become much easier. I am able to now relax and animate in a way that isn’t as strict. I also find I am able to do these animations without constantly having to look up references and examples of how it can work. Essentially I am understanding the laws of animation more and more.
My last project didn’t deliver the plot well, so this time I am keeping it simple and making my animation more of a visual explanation and allowing the subject matter to speak for itself. The animation is more for entertainment of younger age groups which enables me to ensure it remains simple and entertaining.
